Saffron learnt to sail at nine years of age and began coaching at 14, all at Murray’s Bay Sailing Club. As her passion grew, she progressed through a range of boats eventually landing in a 29er. During her time in the 29er she travelled to a couple of World Championships in the Netherlands and California. Saffron’s journey in sailing has now led her to kite-surfing and she is currently learning to foil. She has also recently completed a Bachelor in Sport and Recreation, double majoring in Sport and Exercise Science and Sport Management.
